Flos + Legere (2026) illuminates the understated beauty of flora unique to Naarm/Melbourne while drawing attention to the increasing vulnerability of plant species impacted by environmental degradation and human interference. Imagery of indigenous flora is gathered from the local environment and scanned, or else sourced from printed material and online archives as many of the plants featured are rare, some on the verge of extinction. This outcome is a critical and creative exploration of the more-than-human world and a response to one of the most pressing realities of our time.
